Operator and scope
These terms cover the Blockquote website, waitlist and hosted CMS operated by Holhjem Development AS, Sinsenveien 3a, 0572 Oslo, Norway. Contact hello@blockquote.com for service, privacy or security requests. The free beta is offered worldwide, subject to applicable law. Accounts are available to individuals aged 18 or older, including consumers and people acting for businesses. A separate signed agreement may set additional terms.
Accounts and authority
Provide accurate details, protect credentials and use only accounts and sites you are authorized to manage. You must have authority to act for an organization. Site administrators control members, roles, integrations and publication. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Your content
You retain your rights in your content. You grant us permission to store, process, reproduce and deliver it as needed to provide requested features. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis for content and personal data. Published content can be public and cached by third parties. Keep copies of content you need.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content, infringement, fraud, malware, harassment or unauthorized collection of personal data. Do not bypass permissions, misuse credentials, disrupt the service or probe systems without authorization. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or legal obligations.
Integrations and agents
Review accounts, resources, permissions and publication settings before confirming actions. Site administrators can share access to connections. Third-party providers apply their own terms, quotas and availability rules. Sitemap submission does not guarantee indexing. You control external agent permissions and must review their changes and generated content before publication. AI output may be inaccurate or infringe rights. Authorized agent providers may process information under their own terms. V1 has no built-in AI service and does not automatically send customer content to AI models.
Privacy responsibilities
Our Privacy Policy describes personal data handling. Customers remain responsible for their websites, privacy notices, consent, lawful instructions and responses to individual rights requests. Where required, a suitable data processing agreement must be in place before customer personal data is processed. These terms and the Privacy Policy do not replace that agreement.
Previews, availability and fees
V1 is a free beta. There are no subscription charges, and using the beta will not automatically enroll you in a paid plan. We will give advance notice before introducing paid plans and require your express agreement to pricing and payment terms before charging you. Features may change during development; beta features may be incomplete or interrupted and carry no availability commitment unless separately agreed. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a launch date. Before a paid plan is offered, its price, taxes, billing cycle, renewal, cancellation and any applicable refund or withdrawal rights will be disclosed.
Ending use
You can stop using the service and request account closure, export or deletion at hello@blockquote.com. Request export before closure if you need to keep content. We handle verified closure and deletion requests under the Privacy Policy, including its active-system and backup periods. You must have authority to request deletion of shared organization content. We may suspend or end access for a material breach, legal requirement or serious security risk. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. If we retire the beta, we will provide reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to retrieve content where practicable. Obligations that by their nature continue, including respect for intellectual property, survive termination.
Responsibility and rights
We will provide the service with reasonable care. Except where agreed or required by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or a particular business result. Each party remains responsible under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Law and changes
Norwegian law governs, subject to mandatory consumer protections applicable in your place of residence. Contact hello@blockquote.com first so we can try to resolve disputes. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law remain available. We will communicate material changes with reasonable advance notice and explain when they take effect. You can stop using the service if you do not accept a change. Where law requires express agreement, we will obtain it.
