A website needs a life after its first build

AI tools make it easier to create a frontend. But someone still needs to change the opening hours, add an article, translate a page, or review a new product description. Those jobs should not require another round of code generation.

Blockquote’s goal is to connect that first build to an ongoing editorial workflow. A website owns its components and rendering. The CMS owns structured content, drafts, publication, and the permissions that govern them. An external agent should be able to work through those same rules.

A clear contract for humans and agents

Our planned MCP integration lets an agent discover schemas, propose site setup, create page drafts, and return frontend integration guidance. Publishing is a separate operation. Optional built-in assistance will help with drafts and translations; bringing your own agent is the primary workflow.

We’ve chosen Portable Text for rich content and an opt-in localization model. These choices need working examples and fidelity tests before we call them supported. Our guides explain the reasoning behind the design.
